Ski Hosts
You will have access to a team of enthusiastic ski hosts to help familiarise you with the resort. The hosts are excellent skiers and know the resorts like locals. They will help you find great snow, avoid queues, and take you to the best mountain restaurants. They are available to ski with you 4 and a half days a week. Please remember that ski hosts are not instructors or off-piste mountain guides: Ski Hosting is a purely social activity, designed to help you get to know the resort.

Ski Equipment
This unique service means that a Ski Olympic Technician will be available to fit you with the right equipment and ensure you have the best possible week’s skiing. They will then be on hand throughout the week to offer advice and make any necessary changes so you continue to get the most out of your equipment.

They have a Standard range for beginner skiers and a Premier range for intermediate and advanced skiers. The Standard skis are ideal for those first few tentative steps on snow, and the Premier range are chosen specifically to increase confidence and help improve technique without limiting even advanced skiers, and are versatile enough to work well in all conditions. Those looking to hire specialised race, freestyle, backcountry skis or snowboards can be advised by our staff as to the best local shops once in resort.

CHALETHOTEL OLIVER
Accommodation
Built in 2003, Chalethotel Oliver exceeded all expectations and has proven a huge hit. Clad in traditional stone and wood, Oliver has been finished to a very high standard and is dressed with locally crafted furniture and fittings. The long dining room tables and comfortable lounge areas help create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere enjoyed by guests and staff alike, while the large terrace off the dining room is the perfect place to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Chalethotel Oliver is located at the entrance to the village, around 300 metres from the centre and a further 200 metres from the ski lifts, though it is possible to ski almost to the back door. The Chalet is well situated at the foot of the slopes and close to the village centres many shops, restaurants and bars. Just below this, nestled among the pine trees lies the old part of the village.

Food and Drink
Breakfast - A hearty buffet of cereals, fresh French bread and jams, boiled eggs, porridge, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, tea, and coffee. On six mornings there is also a cooked option to choose from, such as bacon or sausage with scrambled eggs.

Afternoon tea - On your return from the slopes every day a delicious afternoon tea is provided of freshly baked cakes, bread and jams, and tea or coffee.

Evening Meal - On six evenings you will enjoy a wonderful three course evening meal accompanied by regional table wine. On the festive last evening of the week the meal is followed by a delicious and varied cheeseboard of local specialities and complimentary port.

Information from Ski Olympic
All of our chalets are unique and offer different levels of amenities. Equally varied are their locations in relation to the village and pistes, their age and structure and the quality of their furnishings, meaning that each has developed its own individual ambience. Whichever you stay in you can be assured the warmest of welcomes and you will quickly relax in the atmosphere created in one of these cosy mountain homes. However, some chalets have creaking floors, thin walls, small bedrooms and plumbing and electrics which are sometimes less efficient than at home. Therefore, your expectancy levels should not be the same as when staying in a 5 star hotel. Bedrooms vary greatly from chalet to chalet and even in the same chalet. Ninety-five percent of our chalet bedrooms are en-suite and all bedrooms now have duvets. Smoking is only permitted in the public bars and again on balconies or terraces with care.
